Los n\u00fameros ordinales nos ayudan a expresar un orden o sucesi\u00f3n en relaci\u00f3n con los n\u00fameros cardinales<\/a>, ayudando a indicar qu\u00e9 lugar ocupa el elemento de alg\u00fan conjunto. En ingl\u00e9s, para la mayor\u00eda de ellos solamente tienes que agregar \u201cth\u201d al n\u00famero cardinal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ejemplo:<\/p>\n

6<\/span> = Six<\/span> + th<\/span> = \u00a0Six<\/span>th<\/span> \u00a0(Sexto o sexta) y se representa as\u00ed: 6th<\/span>.<\/p>\n

10\u00b0 \/ D\u00e9cimo = Ten<\/span>th<\/span> \/ 10th<\/span>.<\/p>\n

11\u00b0 \/ Und\u00e9cimo = Eleven<\/span>th<\/span> \/ 11th<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Y as\u00ed sucesivamente.<\/p>\n

La excepci\u00f3n son los siguientes n\u00fameros:<\/p>\n

1\u00b0: \u00a0Primero =\u00a0First<\/span>. 1st<\/span>.<\/p>\n

2\u00b0: Segundo =\u00a0Second<\/span>. 2nd<\/span>.<\/p>\n

3\u00b0: Tercero =\u00a0Third<\/span>. 3rd<\/span>.<\/p>\n

5\u00b0: Quinto =\u00a0Fifth<\/span>. 5th<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Como habr\u00e1s notado el n\u00famero ordinal se representa escribiendo el n\u00famero con las dos \u00faltimas letras.<\/p>\n

Cada vez que se repitan estos n\u00fameros se escribir\u00e1n de la misma manera:<\/p>\n

21\u00b0: Vig\u00e9simo primero \u2013 Twenty first<\/span>. 21st<\/span>.<\/p>\n

32\u00b0: Trig\u00e9simo Segundo \u2013 Thirty second<\/span>. \u00a032nd<\/span>.<\/p>\n

43\u00b0: Cuadrag\u00e9simo tercero \u2013 Forty Third<\/span>. \u00a043rd<\/span>.<\/p>\n
